2. Soak Up Stunning Views

Downtown Gatlinburg’s prime location in the heart of the Smokies means there are a handful of spots to see spectacular views! Head to the top of the Gatlinburg Space Needle and look down at both the busy streets and the majestic mountains in the distance. Gatlinburg SkyLift Park and the Gatlinburg Scenic Overlook provide additional picturesque views of all Gatlinburg and the Smokies have to offer.

3. Visit the Historic Ogle Cabin

Did you know that you don’t have to enter Great Smoky Mountains National Park to see one of Gatlinburg’s most historic buildings? The Historic Ogle Cabin is tucked away in downtown Gatlinburg, beside the Gatlinburg Welcome Center and not far from Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies on the Parkway. The first-ever cabin built in the Smokies is made from rough-hewn logs and was the former residence of William Ogle, a farmer from South Carolina who relocated his family to the Smokies in the early 1800s.

Downtown Gatlinburg is a shopper’s paradise! You’ll find a number of unique shops offering everything from souvenirs to candy and everything in between. The Mountain Mall, The Village Shops, Marketplace, Baskins Square Mall and Reagan Terrace Mall each offer quaint shops, boutiques, galleries, locally owned stores and more that you don’t want to miss out on!

5. Visit Attractions & Restaurants
