4 of Our Smoky Mountain Wines to Try This Fall

When you’re keeping an eye on those leaves as they change colors this fall, perhaps a glass of locally made wine would go along nicely with the moment! At Tennessee Homemade Wines, we use fresh fruits, local craftsmen and Southern hospitality to make the tastiest sweet wine in the Smoky Mountains! We offer up over a dozen regular flavors and a selection of Experimental Series wines! Don’t forget to drop by either our Gatlinburg or Sevierville locations for free tastings. Here are 4 of our Smoky Mountain wines to try this fall:

Pumpkin Pie Wine by Tennessee Homemade Wines

1. Pumpkin Pie

Do you love pumpkin spice lattes?! If so, this is the perfect Southern sweet wine for you! Nothing makes you feel quite ready for fall like the taste of pumpkin spice and smooth cinnamon! One of the wines from our Experimental Series, our Pumpkin Pie flavor is a cream-based wine with sensational flavors of pumpkin and cinnamon spices, complete with a perfect finish! Crafted by local experts, our delicious Pumpkin Pie flavor will have you in the mood for hayrides and haunted houses this fall season.

2. Apple Orchard

Nothing says fall quite like that smooth crispness of an apple! Our Apple Orchard flavor here at Tennessee Homemade Wines is made from a combination of  locally grown apples, perfectly blended with that delicious crisp apple flavor with a finish that has you feeling like you just had a slice of apple pie! It’s like you’ve traveled back in time and just had a warm apple pie slice made fresh in your grandmother’s kitchen! This 100-year-old recipe has been perfected over several generations to give you that exact, perfectly sweet taste each and every time.

Old Apple Wine by Tennessee Homemade Wines

3. Old Apple

“Cooking apples” are commonly found to grow here in the Smokies. These oddly shaped, rough-to-the-touch apples were used by previous generations to make jams, jellies and fried pies. One day, our family decided to use these apples instead to make a sweet Southern wine that is as both light and crisp as any other! What we have today is our Old Apple flavor, now an over 100-year-old recipe perfected for your palate on a cool, fall day in the beautiful Smoky Mountains!

4. Mountain Chocolate

Who doesn’t love chocolate?! Another selection from our Experimental Series, our Mountain Chocolate flavor is the perfect blend of rich, creamy chocolate milk, Irish Creme and wine! Velvety chocolate flavors combine for a rich, decadent finish when this flavor meets your tongue! The best part of this flavor is the numerous ways to enjoy it! Have it chilled on its own, mix it in a fun cocktail or even throw it in a milkshake. Better yet, combine it with hot chocolate for one of those cool fall nights in the Smoky Mountains! You can even mix it with coffee, chocolate or your favorite ice cream!
