You’ll be hard-pressed to find a fruit that is more specific to this region than the muscadine grape. Wild muscadines are native to the southeastern United States, and the old timers from the Gatlinburg area found out that they made good jelly and even better wine. Before fermentation, we remove the grape skins to create a smoother sipping experience, which pairs well with the naturally fresh and tart taste of these unique berries.
